Awards
MRM is a corporate member of the Institute of Promotional Marketing (IPM) that governs the UK promotional marketing industry on behalf of
brands and agencies alike. Our company founder and Executive Chairman, Peter
Kerr, is a current and long standing board member of the IPM and he plays a
proactive role within the industry, ensuring the IPM listens to the challenges
faced by brands within the ever changing world of digital, retailer price
pressures and evolving consumer expectations. Peter is also a former Chairman
of the IPM – having served a two year tenure.
The IPM COGS Awards are designed specifically to recognise
the ‘silent’ service partners in the industry, those companies who work behind
the scenes with public sector clients, brands and agencies but for whom
publicity of their work is rarely offered. MRM is fortunate to have been
recognised by its peers and competitors in recent years at the IPM Awards, and

Certifications
We take our certifications incredibly seriously as they form an important framework to our business and demonstrate to the outside world our commitment to maintaining internationally recognised standards. We invest significantly each year to ensure these certifications remain at the heart of our company ethos.
What is ISO?
ISO (International Standards Organisation) offers international standards across a wide range of disciplines. Audits are performed to ensure compliance with the standard and certificates are awarded by an independent external body, British Assessment Bureau. We hold the following ISO certifications:
ISO 9001:2015
Quality Management: Ensures the business delivers a consistent level of quality to its customers which requires well defined and regularly reviewed processes and procedures. This focusses on managing change, meeting customer expectations and delivering a programme of continuous improvement to the benefit of our business and our clients.
MRM achieved the Quality Management ‘BS EN ISO 9001:2015’ certificate in December 2011.
MRM has adopted an approach based on efficient working practises which focus on the business objectives and uses its quality management systems to help and support staff and improve customer satisfaction.
ISO 14001:2015
Defines the requirements of an effective environmental management system for small to large organisations. This provides a framework to improve resource efficiency, reduce waste, and drive down costs. The main aim is for our environmental impact to be measured and minimised.
MRM achieved the Environmental Management ‘BS EN ISO 14001:2015’ certificate in December 2011.
MRM is able to demonstrate to company management and employees as well as external stakeholders that environmental impact is being measured and improved
ISO 27001:2013
An effective Information Security Management System (ISMS) provides a framework of risk assessments and treatments, policies and procedures that safeguards the security of information, whatever the format. It allows us to proactively assess the risks and mitigate the impact of a potential breach of information security and is independently assessed to an international standard based on industry best practices.
MRM achieved the Information Security Management System BS EN ISO/IEC 27001:2013 in January 2020.
Achieving ISO 27001 is not a guarantee that information breaches will never occur, however by having a robust system in place, risks will be reduced and disruption and costs kept to a minimum.
