Distributing some Easter comfort

It was nice to be able to spread the Easter Bunny’s drop off schedule a little wider this year. We were looking to support local care homes, hospital services and those working within the region’s Ambulance service with the gift of some seasonal chocolate in the form of Easter Egg donations. As well as contributions from our own staff, the egg banks coffers were swelled by generous donations from the Market Harborough public and in particular Little Bowden Primary School and local client G Touring (see the bottom picture!).

With over 200 eggs donated we were able to arrange for them all to be shared between the residents and staff of local care homes Peaker Park and Lenthall House. In addition we were also able to drop some eggs with St Luke’s Stroke and Rehabilitation Centre and the East Midlands Ambulance Service. Our sincere thanks to everyone that contributed and additional thanks to Harborough FM for helping us spread the word. Hopefully we can replicate and grow this year’s success with an even bigger donation next year!
