MRM’s approach to data management is to centralise the data processing into our fulfilment system, Alchemy; our in house warehouse management system (WMS). This is a hybrid integrated order processing, warehousing and customer management system written by our IT department.
In addition to Alchemy’s architecture, there are various user-defined fields that can be defined for customers, orders and products, which may be specific to a client or even a particular activity or media code. These will control what information is to be captured into the system, or reported out of the system when working on that client’s account. We have the facility to create an ‘assembly code’ on our system which will call upon the components as orders are placed.
